Are hydrangea plants toxic and not allowed in our yards??? I just had a day care provider friend tell me they are but my initial inspector never told me to remove them. I have an inspection coming soon and I'm concerned I might get busted for having them in my yard. They werent in bloom when I had my first inspection so Im wondering if she didn't notice them?

This came from Wikipedia:

Hydrangeas are moderately toxic if eaten, with all parts of the plant containing cyanogenic glycosides.

Good to know! I have a potted hydrangea on my porch! However since I am listed with the state (I can watch 3 other than my own); I don't have inspections. But you bet I keep my eye out for any plant eaters!
