What job duties in daycare is considered employee or independant contractor?
I have someone who comes in at her choice of time and day to clean the daycare n equipment, maintance the playground, mow grass, tend to the plants, wash windows, and etc. I also have someone who comes in and does all the paper work on the accounting side. Sometimes i just email her the stuff n she does the work from her house becaue she uses her computer n software. What about someone doing the grocery shopping for the daycare? Or a sub provider?
Are these employees?

The basic definition of what makes an employee is someone who operates under the direction and control of another. In your case, these people do not operation under your direction and control and would be considered independent contractors. Someone who cares for children would be considered an employee unless they were in the business of providing substitute care and worked for others.

I understand now...sometimes it is really hard when you are new. I saw there are some books by Tom Copland. I saw also he answered my question so I will be ordering these books to make everything legal and clear!
