That was funny...I remember feeling the same way as the author all but probably more intensely. I remember telling my husband to please turn off the tv sports and interact with the baby while he looked at me like, "what kind of an idiot do you take me for." But then when I'd get home, there he'd be sitting in the recliner in front of the tv, with Sportscenter on and the baby sitting on his lap facing the tv. Ugh! I guess we lived through it

kind of reminds me of that Malcolm in the Middle episode where the dads go together and used their babies as little lawn bowling things... sliding them across the gym floor for points...
