What do you try to find out from parents during interviews? I already know the following before I even schedule it:

-They nap! lol
-They are potty trained
-They were in another daycare and their reason for changing is wanting something closer to home and more academic
-Full time, and my hours are fine with them

When they come tonight, I know I want to ask...

-Do they have back up care (I've learned that I feel guilty if I'm sick or have an emergency and that's just not ok)
-What did they like/not like about their old daycare (see what I'm getting myself into)

Any other thoughts?

Ask what the child's routine is like at home. That will give you a good idea of how they are at home.
