Hello everyone,
I have been doing daycare for a few months as a license exempt provider through the state but recently my husband and I have decided to become licensed. He is going to be home with me and working as my substitute as he has completed all of the required trainings. The question I have is regarding the total amount of children we are allowed to care for once licensed. Is it still the same (10 max including our own children with only 2 under 24 months) or would it be different considering there is technically 2 providers present. We live in Oregon. Thank you to anyone who is able to shed some light on this for us! ![]() |

Welcome to the forum!
Here is a link to licensing info for Oregon. It explains ratios for your state for both certified and registered programs. https://www.daycare.com/oregon/ |

Remember, you can have no more than 6 preschoolers and only two of them may be under 2yo. If you want to have 10, so 4 of them MUST BE school agers. |
