For me, it's stressful having kids arrive as late as noon. We serve lunch at that time and I'm thinking of establishing a cutoff time for drop-off. I operate a 0-4 program that is casual.

Was thinking 11am or something. Have a 10:15 regular drop off currently that I'm ok with.

I just require parents to give me a written schedule each week so I know what time they are arriving.

I have a drop off window (not cut off) between 8:30 - 9:30am if they are going to arrive later I would like them to inform me so I can plan accordingly.

I have a 10:30 cutoff... I start lunch by 10:45 so we can eat around 11; it's to much commotion for 4 littles under 18 months, fixing bottles & everything if a parent was to drop off later... & I prefer they don't pick up before 2pm due to naps right after lunch. I'm stressed enough because one parent comes to Nurse between 11:15-11:45 daily why add to it. BTW, all my parents currently drop between 7:30-9am

No later than 1000 but I need to be notified. If dck has an appt then 1100 but i need doctors papers. They won't sleep if I don't do this.

I don't have a cut off, but ask that parents inform me by that morning. It doesn't affect our day much and rarely happens so it's no biggie to .

Had a DCD text this morning saying his job is making him take a 4 day business trip and he wanted to keep his child home for the morning and spent some time together but will drop off right before lunch.

Not a big deal at all. Child will miss all morning activities but the face time with the parent is worth it.

Don't have a formal "cut off" but tell DCPs to inform me if DCK will be coming after 9 so I can plan accordingly.

I don't have a cut off time. 3 out of 4 families are here by 9 at the latest. The other family comes between 11-12 and it's ok right now since I'm done cooking around 11:30.

I don't have a cut off either. I'd rather a child stay home longer than come early to make my cut off.

My policies do state that parents need to let me know if their child is being dropped off late, and if they're not here without notice by 10 I assume care isn't needed for the day. I have a separate policy that if a child isn't here by their normal time and I haven't heard from the parent I'll contact the parent and may charge $5 "Safe Arrival" fee.
