None of my kids nap more than once, except for our 5month old, but I don't keep track of his naps. We have anywhere from 3-6 kids under 2yrs old every day and they all nap one time, for only about 30-60mins around 12-1pm. Is this normal? My 9month old daughter naps around 11a-12p and will sometimes stay down for up to 2hours, but thats occassionally, and then doesnt nap again until all the kids go home at 6pm. Our 12month old girl will sometimes nap over 3 hours, but thats if we're lucky. Should they be napping 2x a day while they're here?

My son gave up his 2nd nap before a year old. Dcb 16 months still takes 2 naps a day like clock work. 2 hours in the am and 1 hour around 4pm.

I do. All of my kiddos naps in the pm from 1-3. My babies nap in the morning from 9am-10am as well, up to anywhere from 14 months to 18 months - just depending on the child. It's easy to determine when the child doesn't require the morning nap anymore. Then they go strictly to the 1-3 pm nap 
I rarely ever have trouble with nap times, present or past.
Do you guys go outside before nap time? Are they tired by the time nap time rolls around?

I have twin boys that just turned a year. They both nap twice 1st around 8-9 AM then again around 3-4 PM. If I don't put them to sleep they'll knock out on the floor.

I have 3 that are 17/16 months old. One would sleep 8 hours a day if I'd let her. Her mom's schedule just changed, so she won't be here at 5:45 am any more, but when she was, she slept from the time she got here until the next baby arrived-usually 7 or 7:30. On the days she was alone, she would sleep until 10. (Mom said to let her)
The other two sleep from 9 or 9:30 until somewhere between 11 and noon. Sometimes, I have to wake one of them up.
Then they are back down around 2 and sleep until around 4.
I have good sleepers!
I told their moms that I was keeping them on 2 naps until they turned 4. They all agreed.

My almost 11 month old DS naps 2-3 times per day.
My 5 month old dcg naps 2 large naps and small cat naps through as well.

6 month old naps from 8-11-and 1230-230.
10 month old naps from 800-930 and 1200-230
18 month old naps from 800-930 and 1200-230
All the other kids nap from 12-230.
I wake most of them up daily.

I have a 1 year old that naps 1 to 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. All kids are different.
