I am preparing an end of the year tax statement for my dc families. For this week, since it includes 2 January days, do I just divide the weekly rate into the 5 days and do the daily rate for the 2 days in Dec. and do a daily rate for the 2 days in Jan. and include the January days for this year (2014O? Or can I just include the whole weekly rate for this week for 2013?

If they handed me money last year it is last years, if they hand me money this year it is this years SO those that paid me on Monday, it was on 2013. Those that pay me today or friday it is this year. Parents that prepaid all of January in December it is last year.

You count the income for the year when you received the money.
