I just joined here yesterday so maybe someone can direct me if this has been done before but I'm wondering if anyone has pics of their daycare area?? I want to revamp mine a bit before September and was looking for ideas.
I've been doing daycare for about 10 years but moved to a different house about 4 years ago and decided I didn't want the playroom to scream primary kiddy colors anymore. It is the first room you see when you walk in my house so its done more in earthtones but I think its still fun for the kids. Its a basic sized rectangular family room - not some super sized daycare room either so I often see neat ideas but I can't implement them in my space.
So I'd love to see some other home daycare spaces if anyone has pics to share!!!

Is there a way to make a "photobook" on this site? I have seen so many wonderful rooms and enjoy looking at them when I'm bored too. LOL. I love the new pictures of the blue and white room. Is that a bug light on the wall? How cute!

I got it at Sams,they have them in the summer time only,good time to get one.Liliya,

I just tried one to test it out. Where are your pics hosted? Mine are on photobucket and I had no problem. Just hit reply, then the little yellow picture box and then inserted the URL to my photo on photobucket and it worked. I think it may depend on where you have your pics. Trying to load from my computer. It let me load the two on the "toy container" thread, but now won't let me load on this thread.I just tried one to test it out. Where are your pics hosted? Those chairs are from Ikea or at least the colored ones are as some of the other items she has in her room. I have the ikea chairs as well, I need to go back to ikea to get 2 tables. I was getting this,when I was uploading a few pictures at a time,then I did one by one and it worked.I keep trying to post my pics and get the following.

I LOVE that you have a FB widget on your website. I'm sooo jealous. Do you have a personal FB account that you have seperate too or do you only have one for your DC?
I have the problem where I made one for my DC and have my personal one but I havn't figured out how to post on my DC one as my DC itself. For example I go into my DC FB page (picture of my DC logo) and do a status update and it comes up as a status update for my personal page (with my personal profile picture) or as a comment from my personal FB. Just wondering how you do it.

Do you have a Mini crib in your room? How large is your room? Is this your whole daycare area or just part of it? I absolutely love your room! It's very well organized. You're creative to use calendar numbers as your wall border for counting. Just shows how I need to be more creative with things I see instead of just how they're sold because I would have only thought to use them as calendar numbers! ha ha. Thanks for sharing!

Thats the whole room. Yes its a mini crib. It was in my daughters room but we moved a larger one into her room and this will be her nap crib. She is the only baby I have. The room is the size of a 1 car garage, because thats what it used to be. And thank you. I'm extremely pleased with how it turned out. Ive had many years of pretend planning to come up with how I wanted my future daycare and now I'm well on my way.Do you have a Mini crib in your room? How large is your room? The set up is absolutely wonderful!! Thats the whole room. Yes its a mini crib. It was in my daughters room but we moved a larger one into her room and this will be her nap crib. Just a friendly warning about where you keep your paint.
You might want to put it up higher or behind doors because the minute you run off to the bathroom, the kids might help you redecorate!
I can't tell what kind of blinds you have ( be sure to put the cords up) but when I saw them, all I can think is bye bye blinds.... I have kids that would destroy them but hopefully you will get well mannered kids.Everything else is great!!!
