Have any of you guys tried it? I just bought some today and kids love it!!!. It's not very messy, the texture is pretty interesting. It is a little hard to build something because it falls over, but overall it was a hit with the kids

Just thought I would share with you guys

I just saw it and was thinking about buying some but wasn't sure. Thanks for letting us know what you think.

My grandson has it and loves it. He has sensory issues, so it's perfect for him.

I haven't let the dcks use it yet.

I bought some kinetic sand too and used it for the first time yesterday. The kids loved it! It's a nice break from playdoh. Will be buying more, only bought one package to test it out.

yeah, the stuff is awesome, but it's super expensive. Our children's museum sells it for $30. Not paying that for stuff that will end up on my floor.

Ooh! It's $16 at Michael's.

Wait.....sand costs money?

(Siesta Key, Florida. Finest white sand beach in the world. Powdered quartz crystals. Perfect for sculpture.)

We don't do sand at our daycare though. That's an activity you do with your parents at the beach.

I just went to Michaels and bought some. OH MY GOSH, I love it so much! I can't stop messing with it! Can't wait for the kids to play with it Monday!

Thanks for the tip!

I saw it in Michael's last week but thought $16 was pricey. Guess I am just cheap.

Oooh, I love this stuff. It's fun for even me to play with. I bought a container for $20 at a store called Brookstone in the mall back in November and my massage therapist gave me hers cuz she was tired of the sand everywhere. The kids love it and it gives me another option for sensory play other than sand, water, playdough, etc.

Amazon has it for about the same price...depending which one/size you buy

I also heard of sand alive. Does anyone know if it's the same thing? Kinetic sand is out of stock where I get it and wondering if this is the same.

I just saw it at Michael's yesterday for the first time and it is awesome! It is expensive. I wouldn't buy it for $16.00. Would have to have a 40% off coupon with me if I planned to get some. I think the kids would LOVE it!

Yeah that stuff is pretty awesome. We make ours though. Here's the recipe we use to make it

If you find the sand cheap (Wal-Mart or at Michael's with a 40% off coupon) it comes out cheaper thn having to buy it already made plus the DCKs have fun making it.
