I asked the same thing around Halloween, and probably will again beginning of December for Christmas. This is my first year opened and wanted a couple simple Thanksgiving crafts to do with 1-4yr olds. Any ideas?

We just made turkey lurk eyes this morn. Take tp empty tp rolls and wrap in brown paper and trace their hands and staple to the back of the roll for feathers in different colors. Glue on wiggly eyes and a red piece of paper for that thing that hangs off the nose and you are good to go. Very cute

We will be making these:

I also like the idea of doing placemats of some sort, and the Tree of Thanks that someone else mentioned.

We collected leaves, twigs and berries outside and then I printed out a large tree template that had no leaves (here:
http://www.craftscope.com/images/aut...s-free-tr1.jpg ) which we cut out and pasted onto large pieces of construction paper. They then glued their collections onto and around the tree. Then they signed their names and added their own little touches.
It was cheap, fun and quite time consuming.
