So I work for a center, but I end up spending at least $50 a month on my classroom. This is paper, science activities, art stuff, ect. Our owner is really rather cheap. Can I take the expenses off on my taxes if I save the receipts?

Since you are an employee you could only claim these as a Miscellaneous Itemized Deduction on Schedule A, assuming you itemize your taxes. However, you'd have to have a lot of these expenses (more the 2% of your adjusted gross income) before you could deduct them. So, you probably can't deduct them.
