About Orchard Montessori
Orchard Montessori is a home based preschool located in Quince Orchard Park Community. I have my Montessori Diploma (AMS) from an accredited school in Maryland, and I have several years experience working as a Montessori teacher in private schools.My passion is to work with kids so I completely changed my home to a Montessori environment which you need to check it out. Montessori environment offers children the opportunity to develop at their own rate, expanding their knowledge from concrete, hands-on experiences to the next stage in their cognitive development, which involves more abstract thinking. As a teacher I provide appropriate lessons to support each child’s individual growth, interests and capabilities. The academic materials presented are designed to stimulate a child’s senses as well as to respond to his or her need for order and sense of mastery within the world. The curriculum covers Practical life, Sensorial, Math, Language, Social Studies and Science. In addition to our standard academic program we also have our Enrichment program that includes Spanish, Art and Music. We also have our community playground for the kids to play.
