About Routhieaux Family Childcare

Welcome to my daycare/preschool and thank you for visiting us. My daycare/preschool is structured on Education with a Montessori background. At a very young age I teach the child how to hold a pencil and we begin by learning how to doodle and color. At about the age of 2 to 3 years old we learn how to write our upper case and lower case letters. We learn the sounds of the letters through this process so we can start learning to decode 2 to 3 letter words. We learn how to write our numbers so the child can learn how to add and subtract numbers. We begin this process by singing and learning our ABC's, numbers, colors, shapes, phonics, days of the week, months of the year, and much more! I prepare them for grade 1 where they will be advanced in all areas. There is lots of nurturing, love, caring for others, kindness, manners and every child feels just like they are at home. Lots of love is inside our facility. The facility is very clean and we do not allow sick children to attend. We love the outdoors and focus on imaginative play, arts and crafts, story time, painting, kinetic sand, playing with legos, and much more. I am a mommy of 4 amazing kiddos and have a Love and passion for teaching and for all children that come our way. These kiddos become just like my very own. I provide home cooked meals and snacks throughout the day.
