I would not recommend this daycare, especially for infants. We had one of the worst daycare experiences we have ever had, and we only kept our child there for one week because of how uncomfortable and upsetting the experience became for our entire family.
Throughout the week, we repeatedly heard that our baby was crying. Instead of receiving reassurance, positive communication, or suggestions about how to help him adjust, we felt like we were constantly being told how difficult he was. At one point, we were even encouraged to consider changing his pediatrician, which was completely inappropriate and unnecessary.
What was especially concerning was that we were later told that the provider felt scared because she had never dealt with a child like ours before. If she did not feel comfortable caring for an infant with his needs, that should have been communicated to us before accepting him into her care.
Our baby was also clearly affected by the experience. When he came home, he was unusually quiet, withdrawn, and not acting like himself. As parents, it was heartbreaking to see such a change in our child after only being there for a short period of time.
Another major concern was communication regarding feeding. On the final day, we were not informed during the day that our baby had not consumed his milk. We only found out when my husband arrived to pick him up. If an infant is refusing milk for an entire day, parents should be informed promptly—not at pickup.
There was also an incident where a video was taken of our baby crying while sitting in a high chair, and it was sent to us as an example of how difficult it was to get him to eat. We did not find this appropriate. When an infant is distressed and refusing food, our expectation is that they are comforted and given time—not that their distress is recorded and sent to their parents as evidence of the difficulty.
Unfortunately, the lack of professionalism did not end when we decided to leave.
When we went to pick up our belongings, the provider asked us, “Are you here to talk or to pick up your stuff?” because she had another family coming to view the daycare. We were essentially told to take our things and leave. There was no conversation about what happened, no attempt to understand our concerns, and no compassion toward us as parents who were clearly upset about our child's experience. We also left some of our baby's paperwork behind. When I contacted her to get it back, she then offered to leave it in the mailbox for us to pick up or drop it off when she was near our area.( which she forgot, and we had to go to pick them up)
For me, these interactions were extremely disappointing. This is not simply about a baby having a difficult adjustment period—babies cry, and we completely understand that. It is about how the situation was handled, how concerns were communicated, and how we were treated as parents.
We expected patience, compassion, professionalism, and communication. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.
I would never send my child back to this daycare, and I would not recommend it to parents looking for infant care. Even if this were the only daycare option available to us, I would not risk putting my child through the same experience again. The entire situation was deeply upsetting for our family, and I sincerely hope other parents carefully consider these concerns before choosing this daycare. This is honestly deserves a Zero Star, not even 1.
