About Lil Bits Daycare (Montessori)
We are an in-home-based Montessori preschool with a mixed age bracket. We also teach ASL and basic Spanish. We are busy from the moment your child arrives to the moment they leave with a nice outdoor space for running, climbing and lots of outdoor fun. We conduct a music class, scissor and writing training. Our program is teacher derived and student-led. It goes at your child's pace, focus and ability. All children have different personalities that are unique and their own. We stive to have a safe place to express who they are. There is no discipline. There is redirection. Example: There's a magic ear, that we have in an area that is private while still visible where they can express their big feelings because we have lots of those even as adults. Children do not wake up to behave badly. They wake up to express themselves, and to be full of joy and to be provided a safe space for learning and expression, and that is exactly who we are. There's a large room in the home that was once a family room that is now dedicated to a preschool environment. We do things as a group. We do things individually. We learn manners, bathroom training, constant hand washing, excellent meals, and most of all, lots of fun as we do our Montessori rotation to learn, play and gain more skill sets that pace our learning is endeavors for a successful future. We look forward to another addition to our group crew. We'll look forward to hearing from you and seeing what we can offer to you. We are licensed in the state of Missouri, background checked, CPR certified and continue education each year.
