About Catherine Baulkman
My name is Catherine Baulkman, and I am the director of Teach and Tots Play Palace, an in-home childcare program where learning, safety, and fun come together. Our goal is to provide children with opportunities to grow academically, socially, and emotionally in a warm, family-like environment. We follow the Frog Street curriculum, which lays a strong foundation for early learning. Each day includes hands-on activities such as painting, storytelling, ABCs, numbers, shapes, colors, and name writing. By blending structured lessons with plenty of play, children stay engaged, curious, and excited about discovering new skills. What makes us unique is the personal attention each child receives. In our smaller setting, I can build close relationships with families and tailor learning to each child’s personality, strengths, and needs. Parents often share how their children have gained confidence, independence, and social skills since joining. We are open Monday through Friday, 7am–6pm, offering a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for busy families.
