About Bear Beginnings Family Child Care

I started Bear Beginnings because I've always loved caring for children, and I wanted to create the kind of place where parents can truly feel at peace when they drop their little one off each morning. I know how hard it is to trust someone else with your baby, so I do everything I can to make my daycare feel like a second home. I keep my program small on purpose so every child gets plenty of one-on-one attention, love, and patience. I take the time to get to know each child's personality, routines, and what helps them feel comfortable and confident. My days are filled with reading books, singing songs, sensory play, outdoor time, crafts, tummy time for the little ones, and lots of opportunities for learning through play. I believe children learn best when they're having fun and feel safe enough to explore. One of my favorite parts of what I do is watching children grow. There's nothing better than seeing a child take their first steps, say a new word, learn something new, or accomplish something they've been working so hard on. Those little moments mean everything to me. I also believe parents and providers should work as a team. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, sharing concerns, and celebrating milestones together. My goal is for you to feel like you're leaving your child with someone who genuinely cares about them, not just as another daycare kid, but as part of my family.
