About THE LEARNING SPOT

The Learning Spot began as a nonprofit organization in Virginia Beach, dedicated to providing tutoring and mentoring services to children and families. As the needs of our community grew, we expanded into a licensed Family Day Home, allowing us to offer high-quality childcare in a safe, nurturing, and educational environment. Today, The Learning Spot proudly serves infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children at our licensed childcare center in North Carolina. Our experienced and caring team is committed to creating a welcoming environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to learn. Our goal is to prepare each child to become a lifelong learner through hands-on play, exploration, creativity, and curiosity. We believe every child deserves a strong foundation that encourages confidence, independence, and a love of learning. To keep families connected, we utilize a secure parent communication and management app that provides real-time updates throughout the day. Parents can receive photos, daily reports, meal and nap information, learning activities, and important announcements all in one convenient place. We believe open communication and strong partnerships with families are essential to every child's success.
