About Acorn & Oak Childcare
Hi, I’m Perla, the owner and provider of Acorn & Oak Childcare. I have been working with children since 2014 and bring both professional experience and a mother’s heart to the care I provide. I hold a college degree in Bilingual Education and have worked as a kindergarten teacher, ESOL teacher, and nanny for multiple families. At Acorn & Oak, I focus on creating a calm, nurturing, home-like environment where children feel safe, seen, and supported. My program emphasizes play-based learning, consistent routines, and lots of individualized attention. I also incorporate gentle Spanish exposure throughout the day in age-appropriate ways. My goal is to partner closely with families and provide intentional, high-quality care that supports each child’s growth socially, emotionally, and developmentally.
