About Future Steps Daycare
This has been quite a journey as running a daycare has been my dream since I was a young girl. Along with my husband, I started this dream as a nanny back in 2014 with a few kids from friends around my neighborhood in West Springfield, MA. I noticed the need for a place to educate and care for kids in an inviting environment. Two years later, I decided to complete the courses and pre-requirements to run a daycare. On December 16th, 2016, I opened Future Steps Daycare. Four years later, my family and I moved to Longmeadow, MA to provide the same teaching skills and care it has characterized me since. Future Steps Daycare offers in-home childcare for children ages 3 months to 5 years. We operate from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. We are licensed by the MA Department of Early Education and Care for up to 10 children. Our mission is to provide high-quality education and care for children in our neighborhood. Our program offers meaningful ways to play and learn through play-based curriculum. We promote early literacy and early math skills through a variety of experiences that include block play, art activities, sensory play, a library area, music and movement, cooking and more. We view parents as partners and find meaningful ways to communicate with you about your child’s growth. Our vision is for every child to develop a lifelong love of learning.
