Santa Cruz Montessori

Santa Cruz Montessori is a private, non-profit school located on two beautiful campuses in Aptos, California. We serve children from 18 months to 14 years, and foster a community of self discovery, responsibility and belonging. Toddler to Preschool | 18 months to 2.5 Years of Age Our Young Children’s Community classrooms are created especially for our youngest children. Our facilities include sunlit rooms with radiant heated floors, large porch areas for indoor/outdoor activity, spacious gardens, cooking areas and a playground featuring natural materials. Preschool and Kindergarten | Ages 2.5 to 6 Years Our Primary classroom communities offer a rich variety of opportunities for children to experience freedom within a secure, attractively structured, and welcoming environment. Ages 6 to 12 Years | Grades 1 to 6 Our Elementary classrooms provide an environment for children to continue to develop their reasoning, imaginative minds. Ourteachers guide elementary students as they contemplate all aspects of the world around them, the universe, and their responsibilities as part of a society.
