At Little Wildflowers Preschool, our philosophy and method of educating is inspired by Maria Montessori, the first female physician in Italy. We use the term “inspired” because we feel that our values of education are reflected in the Montessori approach and we will use those values as a foundation for our continuous developing school. It is based on the belief that children have a natural desire to learn and that, when they are placed in an enriched environment with specially designed materials and trained teachers, they learn quickly and easily through hands on experience. Dr. Maria Montessori began work in the slums of Rome and through careful observation of the children in her care, she discovered how to help children learn about self-care, math, language, cultural studies and size, shape, colors, etc. In Montessori classrooms children make creative choices in their learning, while the classroom and the educators offer age-approriate activities to guide them. Our overall goal is to focus on the individual needs and potential of each child, as well as their emotional, social, cognitive, physical, and spiritual development.

Childcare and Daycare in Santa Rosa, California

Looking for a daycare or childcare center in Santa Rosa can be a smooth and stress-free process with the right resources. Daycare.com stands out as the best website for parents seeking high-quality childcare options. The user-friendly interface allows you to search for daycare centers based on your specific needs, such as proximity to your home or workplace, operating hours, and the type of care provided. The comprehensive database includes detailed descriptions, photos, and reviews from other parents, giving you a well-rounded view of each facility. Additionally, Daycare.com lets you filter your search by specific criteria, such as age groups accepted, special programs offered, and even language preferences, ensuring that you find a daycare that fits your family's unique requirements. When using Daycare.com, take advantage of the detailed profiles and reviews to get a sense of the environment and care philosophy of each daycare center. Read through the parent testimonials to gauge the level of satisfaction and to uncover any potential concerns. It's also helpful to look at the staff-to-child ratio, as a lower ratio often means more personalized attention for your child. Scheduling visits to your top choices is another valuable step; seeing the facilities in person, meeting the caregivers, and observing how they interact with the children can provide peace of mind. Remember to ask about safety protocols, daily routines, and how they handle emergencies. By leveraging the rich resources on Daycare.com, you can confidently navigate your options and choose a daycare in Santa Rosa that will provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for your child.
