About First Steps Christian Preschool Daycare

First Steps Christian Preschool began as a Mother's Day Out in 1984. It wasn't until 1994 that we opened our doors as a Christian Preschool. We have grown to over 110 students and 20 staff employees. Today's mission at First Steps Christian Preschool is to seek to serve God by teaching, loving and caring for children. Each child is considered unique in his or her approach to learning. We strive to take each approach into consideration in providing the best possible environment for learning. Our goal is to reach as many children and families for Christ as possible by allowing Christ to be the center of our words and actions. We are licensed through and a member of the Association of Christian Schools International. We follow the Wee Learn curriculum and teach weekly Bible lessons and monthly memory verses. In addition to studying God's word every day, our students and teachers attend a monthly chapel service led by Immanuel Baptist Church Children's Ministry Leader, Carrie Holland. FSCP chapel provides a place to hear God's word, worship him with energetic music, and learn from age appropriate bible story videos.
