School For Young Children's mission is to provide the highest quality educational environment in which every young child grows to his/her fullest potential. We strive assiduously to nurture the development of each child cognitively, physically, emotionally, and socially. School for Young Children is routinely chosen as an internship and observation site for early childhood and child development student-teachers from Florida State University, Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, and Tallahassee Community College. SYC is a small program designed to ensure high quality and a home-like familial environment.
