Robertson Charter Preschool Daycare

Robertson Charter School began as a vision—a commitment to providing an alternative educational opportunity for families in Decatur, Illinois. After nearly eighteen months of dedicated preparation, we proudly opened our doors in July 2001 with 67 eager students, initially offering Kindergarten through 3rd Grade grades. Despite a challenging start, our school quickly became a premier educational choice in the community. Our goal was to expand one grade each year until we reached 8th Grade, a milestone we achieved by the 2006-2007 school year. Robertson Charter School offers a unique educational environment as a “public school of choice” affiliated with Decatur Public School District 61. With smaller class sizes—typically around 25 students—we ensure personalized attention for each learner. Our state-of-the-art technology enhances our curriculum, enabling students to master essential skills in reading and math. Today, we proudly serve aproximately 300 students with a dedicated team of 46 staff members.
