Rose’s Little School is designed to provide a gentle bridge from home to kindergarten, to nurture the imagination and to keep the joy of learning alive. It is based upon the simple yet profound concepts of imitation, repetition, and creative play. Your child will gradually become accustomed to working within a group, interacting with Tony and I, and following a daily routine, and they will be aided in their development through creative play, practical life skills, artistic opportunities, and clear, kind communication. We understand the young child’s need for movement, as well as the child’s ability to learn about the world through imitating everything they experience. We draw our inspiration from Waldorf Education and LifeWays Childcare. We are a play-based preschool. By encouraging this natural impulse to play, we lay a strong foundation for intellectual, social, and creative achievement in the child’s future. We are a relationship-based program and want each child to experience an atmosphere of trust, love, and inclusion. We hope to inspire meaningful, wonder-filled lives and gratitude and reverence for the world we live in.
