About Wildflower Montessori
Wildflower is the first in a network of small teacher-led, community based Montessori schools. We believe in supporting children and families through an authentic Montessori school day experience. We value time outside of school with family and community in addition to the three hour Montessori work cycle. Our teachers, Mary and Erin share a deep appreciation and respect for their practice of Montessori pedagogy and principles and have many years of teaching experience between them. Wildflower adds a strong emphasis on Music and Mindfulness, and families are encouraged to participate in the full three year experience, allowing for the full benefits of the Montessori Primary curriculum. This approach includes the kindergarten year and prepares children to enter elementary school at first grade with confidence and competence. Our teaching team, fully trained in the Montessori Method through both AMI and AMS, brings over 40 years of combined experience to guide children on their Montessori journey. We are committed to fostering education not only as a means of learning, but as an essential aid to living.
