Founder and owner LaDawn Caldwell is a Detroit native with an undergraduate degree in Economics and Child Development from Michigan State University. LaDawn demonstrates her dedication to high-quality care and early learning by pursuing her Master’s in Early Childhood Education from Spring Arbor University. She remains committed to using her experience to provide your child with the best possible education and care. She also uses her expertise to give back to the community as a member of the Michigan Association for the Education of Young Children, the Greater Lansing Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, and the Lansing Community College Early Education Advisory Committee. LaDawn’s passion for high-quality early childhood education drives her vision for Cradles to Crayons. She continues to work towards a day when all families in under-served communities have access to safe, loving, exceptional care and learning.
