About Superior Kids Daycare

Superior Kids is a licensed group home childcare program located in Marquette, Michigan serving children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., providing a safe, nurturing, and consistent environment for up to 14 children each day. As a small, home-based program, we offer the comfort and familiarity of a home setting combined with the structure and professionalism of a high-quality early childhood program. Our days follow a predictable routine that helps children feel secure and confident, while still allowing plenty of room for exploration, creativity, and fun. At Superior Kids, we believe children learn best through play and hands-on experiences. Our play-based approach supports social, emotional, and behavioral development while building early academic foundations through meaningful activities like circle time, sensory play, art, outdoor exploration, music, and cooperative play. We focus heavily on helping children develop independence, problem-solving skills, emotional regulation, and positive peer relationships. We are committed to maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism. Our program participates in Michigan’s quality improvement initiatives and follows all state licensing guidelines to ensure a healthy, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment.
