Riverside Early Learning Center

Kids Club is a childcare program offered by Monroe Public Schools since 1986 for children ages 2 ½ - 12. Kids Club provides caring adult supervision and a variety of activities for preschool and elementary students from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. All Centers are licensed by the Michigan Department of Licensing, Consumer & Industry Services, and maintain adult staff-to-child ratios to provide a safe quality environment and individualized attention for each child. Kids Club offers physical activities, games, crafts, creative projects and socialization, as well as quiet areas for the children. Trained, qualified, caring staff offers a “home away from home” atmosphere with child-oriented activities that are a departure from their regular school schedule. Summer Kids Club offers an informal environment of fun, swimming, creative projects, reading, and outdoor activities. A program of fun, interesting, challenging activities and projects offering pportunities for children's socialization, creative expression and higher-level thinking skill development are planned by the Center's Activity Specialists.
