About First Steps Learning Center
We aim to create a warm and welcoming environment for both our parents and children where our children are given ample opportunities to explore, learn, and grow. Our children will function independently but cooperatively, following routines appropriate to each age group. Children are encouraged to develop a positive self-image, learn inner controls, and cooperate with their peers and caregivers. Clearly defined limits help them recognize and accept their emotions and express their feelings as they grow and feel secure in the world around them. We also prepare our children physically, cognitively, socially, and emotionally so that they are ready to learn as they enter the school systems in the upcoming years. Here at First Steps Learning Center, we incorporate some practices of creative play by allowing your child to learn through self-direction, exploration, and individualized educational experiences. We practice an educational approach grounded in the belief that children learn best within an environment that respects and nurtures their unique potential.
