The Art of Learning Child Development Program

One idea that is at the heart of this program is that children were created with the tools and instinct to gather knowledge from day one using their five senses. Working with a mixed age group of children from six weeks to age four we will encourage them to be active learners at their own pace and developmental level. We believe that play and art provide all of the opportunities necessary to help encourage and develop a child’s curiosity. Children will be given ample materials and time to investigate and understand all of the wonderful learning moments life has to offer. Art is a powerful tool that allows a child to develop in all domains and in ways that are developmentally appropriate. We also believe that families are a valuable and vital part of a child’s learning and work to create a strong connection with those who are involved in caring for the child. We encourage family participation and work to create a resource for our familes and the community, so each child has an entire network of resources and support for their future success.
