Roots and Wings School Daycare

Roots and Wings School offers a nature-based approach to learning providing educational opportunities to enhance children's healthy growth and development from ages 3 to 13. Nature is at the core of our emergent curriculum where we provide daily outdoor time, exploring the seasonal happenings of the natural world and infusing nature into the indoor spaces. Roots and Wings School believes that nature plays a vital role in the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of young children by providing countless opportunities for discovery, creativity, problem-solving, and STEAM education. Children will experience the sights, sounds, scents, and textures of the outdoors and use developmentally appropriate materials and curriculum pacing that allows children to master skills to build a solid foundation. As children grow and develop from our littlest Seeds, to our Sprouts, we now offer a learning collaborative for children in gades 1-4.
