Community Day Nursery

Our full-day free public prekindergarten program is for 3- and 4-year old children in East Orange. As a partner of the East Orange school district, we provide a high-quality early education program that ensures children will be ready for Kindergarten and beyond. We have bilingual Spanish classrooms for children whose first language is not English. Our wrap-around program is available for children who need a longer day and is available both before and after school. The Community Day Summer Program is a full-day program that begins when the regular school year ends and provides care for children during the summer months. Parents who need financial assistance for our wrap or summer programs can apply for help through Programs for Parents. Community Day Preschool meets the standards set by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and is licensed by the State of New Jersey.
