LONG POST BUT WORTH THE READ!! I waited a while to leave this review because I wanted to be level headed, fair and factual! My child attended tiny thinkers for the past 3 years. Let me start by saying the owner is extremely unprofessional. I think I saw their true colors in the first year but quite frankly my child made some friendships and that helped me oversee a lot. I am definitely not the most liked parent (and that’s okay) my best interest is in my child and being his voice rather than being a “pick me daycare parent”. In my experience at Tiny Thinkers the kids sit in front of the TV most of the day! I drop off they’re watching TV, I pick up they’re watching TV, Their movement time, watching TV! Since moving into the new building the basement classrooms feel extremely gloomy and prison like, no windows! They use a brightwheel app which only contains a few photos of my child and classmates writing daily on a printed worksheet. Now granted I understand this is no “Goddard” & is only a 2 star keystone facility but one would have to assume they do more than watch tv and color! I never knew if my child ate their food or when they were checked out of the facility. Although they never missed a moment to remind us of their fundraisers! Parents were forced to sell Emily’s homemade dip, chocolate sales, Joe Corbi, give money for their outside equipment or being asked to buy their TTA clothing. My biggest concern was picking up one evening at 5:30pm (on the minute) my key fob did not allow me to get into the building. Their door closer is broken and needs to be fixed but I’m assuming their still isn’t enough fundraiser funds. Finally when someone came to the door my child was downstairs alone with a male employee who the owner had recently disclosed in conversation was on the spectrum and all the “help she could find”. When I brought this situation to their attention the owner never followed up with me. Instead she blocked me on Facebook (as I mentioned superb professionalism) Emily ran into her office and closed the door behind her every time she saw me, struggled to say hello, basically avoided me at all cost. I really truly tried to keep things amicable with her for the sake of my child’s friendships and us having our other children in school together! The owner is friends with the local police official who happens to also be friends with her son. She reached out to him on two different occasions and made (2) unofficial claims that our child was not in a car seat at pick up. We let it go because we needed care at the time and just had to remember this was all retaliation to our concerns we brought up. We continued to keep our child here as they are transitioning into kindergarten soon and for the sake of a life altering change for our child and convenience, and waiting on Pre-K graduation, we decided to “ride it out a little longer”. We still stood involved - went to their open house, tried to show support.. at the end of the day no one really ever wants to have issues with the people who are caring for your children. I really hoped for change because at the end of the day we are all adults! The icing on the cake for us was the owner calling children and youth on us and filing a complaint with the state indicating once again that our child was being picked up without a car seat! For clarification this was never not once brought to our attention! They never even came to us and asked us if we had a car seat or in “caring” about their kiddos asked if we needed one! They flat out filed a complaint! Thankfully this was not a reportable offense but to do that to a parent is completely unforgivable! Children and Youth is who you call for neglect and abuse, not for accusations of what another parent told you or what you didn’t see for yourself! Their behavior was completely disgusting and I warn any parent who encounters this place to run and run fast! The fake smiles in your face and then to do this to a parent is just shameful and evil! Finally we pulled our child with zero regrets other than not doing it sooner!

Tiny Thinkers Academy has been a great experience for our daughter since she was just 4 months old. The teachers are wonderful, attentive, and care about the children. Our daughter loves going to school and is always excited to get there, and it's clear she feels safe and happy in their care (she never wants to leave when I come to pick her up!) The school does a fantastic job of engaging the kids with hands-on activities, outdoor play, and a well-rounded curriculum. I appreciate how responsive they are on the Brightwheel app, always quick to answer any questions and share updates and pictures, making us feel so involved in her daily activities. TTA has been a wonderful place for our daughter to grow and learn!

All 3 of my children have attended Tiny Thinkers and I am so grateful for the love and care they have provided to my family since their opening! I always joke that the owner was the 2nd person to learn I was pregnant with my 3rd child to ensure we could get him a spot well over a year later. We have had nothing but amazing experiences and my children have truly thrived here. The staff even meets with the school district when their students transition to kindergarten and this helped ensure my kids get the enrichment they needed from the get go! I can not recommend them highly enough and am sad that our Tiny Thinkers days are numbered as that 3rd baby will soon be moving on to kindergarten.
