Bluestar Preschool Learning Center

Hello, my name is “Ms. Sandie” Mellas. I started Bluestar Preschool in May of 2007 out of my home. The current building has been in operation since September of 2016. This is the most perfect and rewarding job I can imagine. I love working with children and give 100% of myself to making Bluestar the best quality preschool possible. Although I have no children of my own, my experience with children is varied and extensive. I have an educational certificate in ART Kindergarten through 12th grade, a BFA in graphic arts, and minored in psychology, all through Temple University. I have taught art in public schools, community centers and private lessons to home schooled children, enhancing my creative and fun side. I have taught gymnastics and swimming which gives me a vast knowledge of large motor skills and safety.
