The Schoolhouse Day Care Center

The Schoolhouse Daycare was founded in 1997 with the sole purpose of providing high-quality childcare at affordable rates. With more than 20 years of experience, our facility is well-equipped to care for and educate your child from infancy all the way to pre-K. We are a member of the ELRC (Early Learning Resource Center) Program as well as fully licensed by the Department of Human Services. Transportation is available to Bear Creek Community School, Wilkes-Barre Area School District, Wyoming Valley West and Wyoming Area School District. The Schoolhouse Daycare is enrolled in the Keystone STARS Program to improve the quality of the care we give to the children. Through Keystone STARS, we are committed to increasing our standard of care and promoting a quality childcare environment that contributes to increased social and emotional development, learning skills and school readiness.
