Inspiring. Passionate. Exciting. Creative. These are just a few of the words that describe the learning environment and the children who learn at Charles Towne Montessori. As one of South Carolina’s oldest and most distinguished Montessori schools, Charles Towne Montessori School provides a comprehensive program educating children from young toddlers through the elementary years. Our Montessori certified teachers are passionately committed to the pedagogical principles and approach of Dr. Maria Montessori, who opened her first school, the Casa dei Bambini (House of Children), more than 100 years ago in Rome, Italy. It was in this first school that Montessori, a trained physician, began a course that would transform her life and the lives of thousands of children throughout the world. Observing a Montessori classroom where children work independently and at their own pace in a child-centered environment is truly a rewarding and transfrming experience. We encourage you to schedule a visit to see this magical process in action.

Daycare.com is your go-to website for discovering the best childcare options tailored to your needs. With an easy-to-use interface and comprehensive listings, Daycare.com simplifies your search by providing detailed information on various daycare centers in Charleston. You can start by entering your zip code or specific neighborhood to find facilities near your home or workplace. The website allows you to filter results based on your preferences, such as age group, care type, and even specific programs offered by the centers. Each listing includes essential details like the center's contact information, hours of operation, staff qualifications, and parent reviews, ensuring you have all the information you need to make an informed decision. To ensure you find high-quality childcare, Daycare.com offers advice and tips on what to look for during your search. Pay attention to the staff-to-child ratio, as a lower ratio often means more personalized care and attention for your child. Look for centers with accredited programs and qualified staff who have undergone background checks and hold relevant certifications. Visiting the daycare centers in person is highly recommended; it allows you to observe the environment, meet the caregivers, and see how the facility operates on a typical day. Don't hesitate to ask questions about their curriculum, safety protocols, and daily routines to ensure their approach aligns with your expectations. Additionally, reading reviews and testimonials from other parents on Daycare.com can provide valuable insights into the experiences of other families. By taking these steps and utilizing the robust resources available on Daycare.com, you can confidently find a daycare or childcare center in Charleston that meets your family's needs.
