About Garden Path School For Young Learners
Garden Path School for Young Learners is a small, Christian Montessori early childhood program for twelve children ages 2-6, with two experienced full-time teachers, including Angela Mayfield, M.Ed, who has been teaching for over thirty years. The school is beautiful and cozy, housed in the bottom two levels of Angela’s home, with an extensive playscape in the back for climbing, sliding, running, mud ‘cooking,’ and lots of nature-based learning. Indoors and outside, children learn and grow through hands-on activities, purposeful play, in-depth projects, curriculum themes, character development, and a loving community. We support all stages of early learning, starting with young preschool and including kindergarten prep and private kindergarten, as well as older home-educated students.
