About Shine Preschool
SHINE Preschool is an inclusionary preschool for children ages three- to five-years in Lebanon, Tennessee. At SHINE Preschool, we believe that children can achieve in all areas of development: academic/school readiness, communication skills, motor skills, behavior skills and social skills-through Developmental Learning. Developmental Learning takes place during play and exploration of a child’s environment. An Inclusionary Preschool is a preschool where children of all abilities learn together. We believe that ALL children are exceptional in their own way! All children do not develop the same. They are all unique and special. The research has consistently demonstrated that students—with and without disabilities—generally do as well, or better, both academically and socially, in inclusive settings. As licensed educators, we believe that while learning academic/school readiness skills are important, children should have a well-rounded developmental education where they become leaders who SHINE in their communities.
