Willow Montessori Academy is committed to maintaining its leadership in Montessori education. Our mission as educators is to foster independent, confident, academically prepared, and socially responsible citizens, who will be lifelong learners and problem solvers. Nestled in a wooded area and surrounded by nature in Dallas, Texas next to Love Field Airport and Parkland Hospital, our goal is to grow and evolve to meet the needs of our children, parents and community. The Montessori Method refers to a child-centered philosophy of education developed by the Italian anthropologist and physician, Dr. Maria Montessori. It is not affiliated with any religious or political organization. WMA provides an authentic Montessori education based on Dr. Montessori’s principles and the standards set forth by the American Montessori Society. Encouraging a child’s innate desire to learn, providing a prepared child-friendly learning environment, and suppoting children’s need to work at their own pace remain the foundation of the program.

Another tip is to ask about the center's policies on discipline, meals, and emergency procedures. Understanding these policies will give you peace of mind and ensure that your child's needs will be met. Lastly, speak with other parents who have used the daycare. Their firsthand experiences can provide valuable insights and help you feel more confident in your decision. With Daycare.com, you're not just finding a place to watch your child; you're finding a nurturing environment where they can grow and thrive.
