Hi parents! Thanks for visiting us here at Kids Soar. Kids Soar is a faith-based nonprofit in Roanoke, VA, that has been serving the community for over 35 years. Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty through education and service. We offer after-school and summer programs for children in grades K–5, with a strong focus on literacy, personal growth, and community engagement. As a subsidy vendor, we make our programs accessible to more families by providing quality care that meets state assistance guidelines. Children in our programs receive tutoring, enrichment activities, healthy meals, and mentorship in a safe, nurturing environment. We also support parents through adult education and family-centered initiatives, helping entire households move toward a brighter future.
