About Abc Learning Center Redmond (Abc Learning Center)

Family-oriented, full-day childcare program with classrooms for infants, toddlers, preschool-age, pre-kindergarten, and school-aged children. School-aged children from Redmond Elementary, LWSD, are transported to school from ABC Learning and from school to ABC Learning via school district bus. Learning programs are guided and a hands-on, play-based approach to learning is used that engages children in a diverse group of activities. ABC Learning Center strives to create a communal, family setting that encourages learning and wonder. We partner with Early Achievers for continuous quality improvement in early learning. We implement the industry leading Creative Curriculum by Teaching Strategies and provide ASQ-3 developmental screenings for all enrolled students. Our ABC Connections program partners with a local Child & Family Therapist and Behavioral Specialists to observe classrooms and individual children (by parent/guardian request or with consent) and strengthen our ability to serve children with diverse and complex needs. Families receive individualized support, resources and referrals when necessary to help children thrive. A diverse teaching staff collaborates with a common goal for continuous improvement in the classroom environment, student-teacher interactions, and the early learning experience for children and families. Seattle Kids Yoga run classes for all age groups onsite weekly. Culturally diverse meals are served family style made with fresh ingredients and prepared with love. Children learn to navigate early childhood in a play-based environment that balances teacher-led and student-led routines throughout the day. Teachers communicate with families through an app, sending pictures, videos and activity updates daily. Monthly family events help parents get to know each other and form a strong community with school leadership and other families in the program. ABC Learning Center works to make every day a brighter day for students, staff and families.
