About Mariposa Learning Center

Bilingualism Mariposa Learning Center (MLC) is a bilingual child care center that believes in the positive impact that language can have on a child's life. We understand that early childhood experiences are instrumental in the development of a child’s future. MLC strives to create high-quality early childhood experiences by providing a structured, yet flexible environment. We foster active learning while also promoting English and Spanish in our dual language program. High Quality Educators Family is at the core of everything we do. We believe that quality child care not only revolves around the individual child, but the family experience as well. We understand (and expect) that our staff plays a key role in this relationship. We want our teachers to feel that they are part of the ownership and to feel empowered to play an active role in their classroom and curriculum development. Artistic Expression We strive to give ample opportunities for children to develop fully as thriving, well-rounded children. Children will frequently have the opportunity to experience different art mediums as they draw, paint, sculpt, design, imagine, and explore at Mariposa.
